Introducing the members of our team:

Ryan S. Cook CPA, CGMA, MBA

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in taxation from the University of Central Missouri and is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Ryan was highly recruited by top international accounting firms and, upon graduation from college, worked in the International Tax Consulting department at Ernst & Young LLP in their Kansas City office. Subsequently, Ryan and his family returned to Clinton, MO, his home town, where he owns and operates the CPA firm. Ryan is very involved in the community in Clinton, where he has served on several boards. Ryan is also involved in the CPA profession where he served a Governor appointed term as a member of the Missouri State Board of Accountancy, served as chairman of the Complaint Committee on the Missouri State Board of Accountancy, and has served on several committees on the national level for the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. Ryan enjoys playing golf and tennis as well as hunting and spending time with his wife, Dawn, and three daughters, Ashton, Paityn and Kennedy.

In addition to the firm’s traditional service offerings, Ryan also provides wealth management services to clients. Ryan understands the unique skills a CPA can provide to a wealth management relationship, which is why he gives clients access to well-informed, objective advice to form the foundation of a disciplined, comprehensive wealth management plan.

Ryan was recognized in 2015 as one of the 2015 "Top 10 Public Accounting Professional Rising Stars" in Missouri as recognized by the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals.

Ashton Cook

Ashton attended Rockhurst University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science in Analytics and Technology. Ashton is now studying and sitting for the CPA exam. She was recruited by many of the top accounting firms and started her career at one of the top 5 accounting firms where she worked as a tax associate in the federal tax/private company division in their Kansas City office. Ashton and her significant other, Aaron, have recently moved back to their hometown of Clinton after residing in Lee’s Summit for a short time. Ashton enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time with family.

Wendy Huey

Wendy graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Kansas City Kansas Community College. She worked at Farley State Bank for many years as an assistant vice president of operations. She later moved to Clinton in 2006 with her husband Mark and three children Clay, Jordan, and Devin. Her husbands’ family owned the Tightwad Convenience Store and Bait & Tackle, where Wendy took care of all of the bookkeeping. In 2019 Wendy joined the team to bring along her many years of customer service and bookkeeping skills. In her free time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and tending to their family’s garden.

Dawn Cook

Dawn is a home town girl who graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and is also a Licensed Practical Nurse. Dawn currently resides in Clinton with her husband, Ryan, and three daughters, Ashton, Paityn and Kennedy. Dawn enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Dawn assists with many duties in the firm, including supporting the bookkeeping and tax staff.

Chad Jolley

Chad received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Chad’s unique background as an educator as well as his management experience have led him to his current position as director of operations. Since college, Chad and his wife, Lindsey, came back to their hometown of Clinton to establish their family. They have three children, Claire, Bryce, and Kasen. In his time outside of work, Chad enjoys traveling with his family as well as being involved in the activities of his children.
